Welcome to My Teacher Profile!

Greetings and Salutations!  I’m Travelyan Chambliss a K-12 certified music educator committed to fostering a love for music in every student I work with as well as developing a well rounded productive member of society. With a background in both performance and education, I believe that music has the power to connect us all, regardless of background or ability. One of my favorite quotes to use is “Music is the universal language we all can speak.” My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that there is no such thing as an unteachable child—it’s my job to help each student discover their strengths and potential through music.

This website serves as a space where I share my journey as a music educator, my professional growth, and the strategies I use to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment. I am passionate about ensuring that every student, regardless of their circumstances, has access to high-quality, comprehensive music education that prepares them for both college and career.
